Operation

Ok so below are pictures of my scars from my operation in February. So I will explain.

I have Hydrocephalus, which is basically fluid on the brain. This is my third operation and now I have a prgrammable VP shunt in my head, this is connected to a tube to goes to my stomach. The shunt can be adjusted externally by a machine. I am bionic.

That was short and sweet, it is complicated but I guess this gives you the basic idea.

Urquiola

Maybe I am a design geek but I can’t explain how much I’m loving Patricia Urquiola’s work right now. I almost feel like if I saw her it’d be like meeting a rock star, I may even run up and hug her.

She has collaborated many different companies such as agape, B&B Italia, Alessi,Foscarini, Kartell, Flos and many more.

Her recent project for Axor Hansgrohe is exhibited in CP Harts Waterloo showroom.
Designed by Hayley Tarrington, the set shows off one of my favourite trends, contemporary eclecticism.
Mixing materials, products from old to new, handed down accessories or furniture with simple products.  This style is neither pretentious, offensive or obnoxious, it can lend itself to anyone home.

Patricia Urquiola’s work has hints of craft culture, a trend that is growing more and more. Her tiles have almost lace relief imprints. Plus look at the set and spot the crocheted circles made my me!
